Curtis has over 25 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer Specialist, multiple masters degrees, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He is registered with the State of Florida, and many other states, and is an active member in both the National Fire Protection Association and the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers. Dr. Curtis Latzo is the Founder and Chief Electrical Engineer at Latzo Industries, Inc. (also known as the Arc Flash Study Pro) since 1999.

Additionally, Dr. Latzo was also the founder and senior course instructor at EngineerXED.com, an online, higher education credentialing institution where engineers can receive their professional development hours.
